One of my favorite works (not JUST because it’s pink, either).

  3. I actually finished (with some help from my boyfriend) the full mock video booth for my semester project about a week before Thanksgiving, I just forgot to post the picture! More pictures are sure to come after it’s been reassembled for class.

Mouthful of Junk by Tom Deininger

This is one of the cooler things I’ve seen lately. I approve of artistic upcycling!

Chemical Balance” is an art installation by Jean Shin made with recycled pill bottles to make chandelier style objects.

I love art that people complain isn’t art. This is beautiful and cool (and a way to upcycle pill containers!), and I appreciate the fact that they look like stalactites.

I don’t know much about interior design, but I know I like this.

greetings.

i'm sara. i'm a senior at KSU (go flashes or something) majoring in information design and minoring in web design and programming and art history. i designed newspaper pages for a year, and i worked for a student news website for even longer.

i have unpredictable taste in art and design, although i tend toward the avant garde and the minimalistic. lately, i've been doing some freelance web design work, and it pays alright, actually, when i actually have a project.

this blog is for all the jabs i want to make at newspaper designs (and redesigns), terrible (and exceptional) web pages, and unusual /intriguing designs from all media.
